Go on a long road trip (if you can knit in the car!)
So here they are in order of finishing. :D
First, the shawl for Cherie – it was finished within the first 2 hours of the 6 1/2 hour car ride.

Clapotis – finished the first night at the hotel, while watching a movie and snuggling with my hunky hubby. I really love this! I was going to take a pix with the dress I’m wearing to the wedding… but I’ll do that in time.

One sock, finished the second night after a huge meal, while lounging on the couch at the hotel.

On the way home, I started the Lucy LU for my MIL’s birthday…

And once home I decided to start a project to be auctioned for the Fiber Arts avengers.

Mariah is still on hold, as I wait for advice from the others working on her. But… all in all, I finished 2 projects, and started 2, so at least it’s still a zero sum game.

I found you through your comment on my blog. Beautiful shawl! and I love your colors. Knitting on a road trip brings back a funny memory from college. I went on a road trip with some girlfriends and we got very lost because I was supposed to be giving directions and instead was knitting. Its nice to find someone near me who is going through what I am. Since we both live in Portland, we have a 1 in 3 chance of going to the same clinic.

Gorgeous Work Doll!!!Good for you, I am glad that you had the chance to get a jump on what you were working on.Although I have a question.. I am looking for a pattern for soakers..Can you tell me where you found the pattern for the ones you do? As well as make a recommendation on the right kind of yarn to use for that tender skin?
